Blue Cod is exclusive to New Zealand. They are mainly caught by baited cod pods in the cool clear waters of the South Island and Chatham Islands of New Zealand. This method is seen as a sustainable fishing practice, and fishermen are able to release any undersize and non-targeted species unharmed.
Medium-textured white fish with low oil content and mild flavour and suitable for most cooking method Note:
